Do I need estop button if I already have power emergency button was created by avarakin
I have a medium size CNC machine with 3 axis, linear rails and ball screws and i was wondering whether I really need estop button if I already have a huge paddle power emergency button which would cut off all power to machine, including spindle.
Here is the button I have: tinyurl.com/2p8n7zab
Isn't the estop button redundant?

If it uses steppers, no real need for it, since you already have means to stop the spindle.
If it uses DC servo motors, that is a must coupled with another set of "extreme limits", those also cut power to drives if any axis triggers them.
Also, please upload the pictures here on the forum, not on third party site, i just do not trust them at all, they use to much "spy" stuff.
