Minimum hardware for 5axis closed loop was created by mehdidadash
HiI don't have access North America and Europe so I can't buy mesa or picosystems boards.
considering that, what is the minimum requirements for using linuxcnc to make a 5 axis closed loop cnc?
I have delta asd-a3 400w servo drivers and motors which have abs encoders and use opencan and rs485
Also i have access to Chinese boards like nvum or nvem
And some boards like intel altera cyclon v4
i also attached workpiece pictures.
It is e ndodontic rotary file made of niti .
Thank you.

The absolute minimum is probably a parallel port and closed-loop steppers.
This does not close the loop in LinuxCNC, but in the drives, but that might work.
The limitation there is that the loop is closed at the motor, not the axis.
Will your servo motors accept step/dir control? openCAN and RS485 are possible in theory but I don't know what available hardware is able to do them in the realtime layer.
