Fatal Error on LinuxCNC Startup was created by Clarge249
Hello! We recently acquired a used Sabre 408 that has been converted over to LinuxCNC. The machine was working for the previous owner, but they hadn't used it in a while. They included the computer they were using with all their configuration files. We are in the process of setting up the machine at our facility and are unable to get the LinuxCNC to load. We get a fatal error pop up when we try to load the pre-made config file. If we load the base settings we get the pop up asking us to pick a config, but no matter which one we chose it errors out. (Not sure if it matters, but the computer is not connected to the controller board at the moment).

It does matter, it will not start without the controller connected and powered on as it can not communicate with the Mesa 7i77 that is on the machine.
