Hello, I am a beginner !
I see the starting point is the software stepconf.
I start a new machine and I am asking for driver type.
I would like to use 7I97 card with -10/+10V drive.
What should I enter for drive type, step time and other field ?
Is that a good idea to start with stepconf for a 7I97 card ?
Best regards

Mesa 7i97 is a new controller board so there is no support for it yet in PncConf , but have a look here there might be a ready made config to get you going.
Using StepConf for Mesa boards is not a good idea, it is for parallel port configuration.

There is no current support for the 7I97 with pncconf
(pncconf is a configuration utility for Mesa cards stepconf is not for Mesa cards)

There are a couple of options:

1. mesact may have 7I97 support (not sure)

2. There is an example hal/ini file set for the 7I97 in the 7i97.zip support file
(basic7i97.zip contains the hal and ini files)
