Pulse index was created by Turners
I'm trying to sort out g96 mode when I start the file it hangs on on waiting for a signal Does G0 x14.6 z3.1But won't do g1 f.1 It will do G97 f500 how do I check what signal its waiting for?

this is my file I'm trying to get g96
to work i have a pulse indexer on pin 12
the other pins are not set
i have to turn the spindle on the machine the spindle ramps up to the constant surface speed but when it gets to feed it, but it doesn't move on G1 F.1 rev in .nc file.
can anyone explain to me what's going on

G96 requires encoder feedback and the encoder functions/pins seem
to be all commented out in the hal file

There does not seem to be any encoder setup in the hal file
so no spindle speed for G96 to track

any chance you could help??
i have a spindle indexer on pin 15 which says net spindle-phase-a...
net spindle-pwm => parport.0.pin-14-out i have nothing in that pin
to turn on ccw i have to press a button 1st it seems to track the constant surface speed. but no index tracking unsure what has to change to get it to work

It looks like you only have one sensor (with multiple pulsea per turn),
so CSS should be possible, but not threading, which requires a once
per turn index
