Good evening,

I've been using LinuxCNC 2.8.4 with my new control box for several weeks now, been running well and no issues so far.

Had a weird error pop up earlier - never had it before:

can't do that (EMC_TASK_PLAN_RUN) in auto mode with the interpreter reading

The PC was idling (after having run a simple cutting file around 20 times in a row) and had gone to a blank screen (I've disabled the need to log-on again every time this happens).  When I went back to the PC I noticed that the error had popped up - I assume that it happened during the idle, as I'd have probably noticed it otherwise.

It didn't seem to affect anything, just bizarre to get it pop up out of nowhere...  Anything I should check / be aware of..?

Wal.

It seems to be saying that it got a run command while already running.

Did you tap the screen to wake up the display? Is it possible that you tapped where the cycle-start button was about to appear?

Pretty sure i saw that once or twice, never bothered with it as i thought i dumped pliers or screwdriver on the mouse or keyboard.
Will keep an eye on it.
Only on a PC with a touchscreen, so might also be induction from other equipment, i use plasma cutters a lot, thouchscreens do not like plasma, at all! :)
