linux cnc 7I97 version pnconf was created by Vorms
Hello,
I installed linux cnc 2.8
I have a 7i97 mesa card.
pnconf didn't support 7i97 or I do some mistake.
Is there a way to update pnconf or is it needed to update linuxcnc to 2.9?
what is the right way to go to 2.9 (if it is needed) ?

2.8.4 has driver support for the 7i97 but the config tools may nt know how to set it up.
Maybe set up a 7i77 and change the device name in the INI. That should be fairly close.
Also change "loadrt hm2_pci" to "loadrt hm2_eth board_ip=10.10.10.10 (or whatever) in the HAL file too.

In the 7I97.zip support file, there is a 7I97 sample hal/ini file set
(basic7i97) that is probably the best starting point for a 7I97 configuration
