I have a standard 7i47, I'm sure I read somewhere that I can get a 0-5v output from it to feed a spindle drive. I have pwm enabled to it I believe,  can't get any 0-5v signal measured from it. How should I be wiring this, if its possible.

Skimming the product page at store.mesanet.com I don't see any mention of an analogue output.

Where did you read this?

Some VFDs have enough filtering that you can use raw PWM on their analog inputs
otherwise a simple RC network may be sufficient.

If you read the PWM output with most DVMs you should get a ~0 to 5V outpu as you vary the PWM duty cycle, since the DVM will average the PWM.

As you only need a 0-5v output I would second a first-order RC low pass filter. ( just a resistor and capacitor ). I  imagine a single pwm to analog dac IC could also do the job. Something along the lines of a LTC2644 " Here " should be pretty linear depending on the resolution required and the frequency of your pwm signal you can get 8 bit , 10 bit and even 12 bit (up to 6.25kHz) IC's.

Or you can use the 10V from the VFD and an opto-isolator to get a 0-10V from a 5V (or 3,3v) logic output:

I used this for quite a while: photos.app.goo.gl/66pTsjk7DwEMM8HD6

It doesn't have to be the ACPL shown there, but it does need to be a logic output or push-pull output opto-isolator or the capacitor voltage will not be pulled down at logic low inputs.

Well as an update,  there's a modbus card available,  so I'll order it in the new year, but I got it working for now using an option in the digital inputs. It's a "Lenze" vsd, and you can run 2 of the 4 digital inputs as speed up/down. So I sent the values i needed to ladder and made a quick hash up that gets the speed within 20rpm. Merry Christmas all!

There is also the mesaus.com/product/spinx1/

But I suspect not convenient postage for you.
