hand wheel correct steps per impulse was created by theliadir
Hello

I am using a WHB04B-6 hand wheel (like this one) and I was able to make it work with the template and a bit of help on youtube.
I opperate the machine in a metric enviroment and when we turn the wheel it takes not metric steps.
Is there any way to adapt the steps per impulse?
I read the documentation linuxcnc.org/docs/stable/html/man/man1/xhc-whb04b-6.1.html
Has it do to with whb.axis.<N>.jog-counts (s32,out) maybe?
or whb.axis.<N>.jog-scale (float,out)?
or whb.halui.feed-override.scale (float,in)?

Any hints in the right direction are appreciated.

Yes, these pins could be your problem or the ilowpass scale + gain if you use. Search here in forum. You will find a lot of examples...
