NURBS output/filter? was created by cakeslob
Does anyone know of a CAM program that outputs NURBS?
or a post processor for CAM that posts NURBS?
or a gcode filter program that converts to NURBS?
Some more stuff going on with NURBS in the master branch. Which always leads me to find how to make gcode files with NURBS. Every time I look I am empty handed. It also appears CAD and cnc/robot controller support for NURBS has outpaced CAM support for NURBS by 20 years, to the point where CNC controllers have replaced the need for NURBS support in CAM. It is my thought that from a linuxcnc perspective, NURBS would be beneficial in highspeed or 3d profile machining applications.
edit, sorry, I see it has a rhino file thing
