Spindle configuration was created by Gorts Revenge
I'm trying to get an AC servo running as a spindle and decided to control it with a digital signal. Curiously, it will only rotate in one direction per configuration. The direction control bit is working properly but the pulse signal drops out for one side of zero. The drive tested out fine using an encoder and a switch to generate the signals and I can get the direction to reverse with a configuration change but it will still only rotate in one direction. It must be some configuration error on my part but I can't seem to pin it down. Has anyone run in to this before? I looked over the hal file but couldn't find anything (admittedly, I'm no expert). I attached a copy for review. My thought was that there might be some code relics from an earlier configuration that used a differential analog signal? I'd appreciate any insights or suggestions.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Problem solved. The wire pair for the pulse signal was inverted at the connection to the mesa board. I'm, not quite sure why that would result in it working in one direction and not the other but it did.
