Does anyone know how to set up Linuxcnc 2.9 to auto start after the Debian is done booting up? I have the computer and monitor set to start when the power is turned on, and the Debian is starting and auto logging in at boot up, Now I just need to tweak the Linuxcnc to auto start so the operator will only have to clear the E-stop and home the machine and it should be golden.

Got it, through the Start Up application I was able to launch it after boot up with just enough delay to give the Ethernet connection time to go live.

Yup, thait is it.
There is also a small script here made by PCW that keeps checking for Mesa ethrnet by pinging and starts LinuxCNC after it gets a reply.

So I have the machine running (Hurco VM2-converted to riveter), finally. The MSI computer with the 8125 ethernet card did not make life easy, fortunately there was some info on the forums to help get around that. I ended up with bookworm and a patch from PCW and the QTdragon touch screen, but I am fighting a few issues on boot up. Seems like I am still missing something.  After I get through this portion I will need to configure the tool changer.
