It does not work, as in, the new Debian build of LinuxCNC 2.9 will not work on Mint21 anymore, as it requires Python above 3.11, i think.
And there are no older builds on the Debian servers.
LinuxCNC 2.9 should be officially released soon, poor Andy is pretty much alone in doing that, he could really use some help.

Yes.
And you can take out the drive from the existing PC and put it in another PC, it will work without reinstalling.

So running 2.8.4/Debian my estop button works. Back to Debian, I guess.
