why linuxcnc not have basic option to dual Y axis, have most popular used configuration hobby user machines, why have only XY,or XYZ, foam, lathe, but not have option XYYZ can only select main menu. now all user have lot problem how this configured and not have help lot, not working many many user if try config this.
etc, my machine normal paraller port cnc not hobby users can buy owerprice expensive mesa cards, not totally normal hobby user can buy, ower at all budget.
or why forum not have made help file can add step by step config dual Y axis settings. all try make lonely in home but newer any not working alltime come only errors lot. why linuxcnc main code makers not have do this good. if understand code can do this , but normal hobby users not understand this all code problems only lot.

LinuxCNC 2.8 and above do support dual joint axes.
If you want StepConf to set it up for you then you need 2.9 or above.
