Update 2.8 to 2.9 was created by Serg452
Everywhere they write that the configs are the same...Updated debian to buster and linuxcnc to 2.9 - writes an error following X and Y, the Z axis works normally. Made a new installation - the result is the same.
Config on 2.8 works, I put the disk with 2.9 - error.
Noticed - if moved by 0.01 - does not fall into error, if 0.1 - instantly
What are the ideas?

Can you try if the same error occur when using Axis? But I guess it's too much work switching to Axis...
Otherwise ... tell us more about your configuration. Do you use a closed loop systeḿ or just steppers...

Are you using your 2.8 version hal/ini files with 2.9?

Not sure what would have changed between 2.8 and 2.9 that would cause this
Perhaps posting the hal /ini files would give a clue

The solution turned out to be a shame simple(
It looks like a write failed when copying to a flash drive. When copying and writing the configuration again, everything worked at once.
It is not clear why the system adopted a curve config without warnings.
Now you need to come up with a replacement for the probe screen from Vers
