BUT, We the ordinary not-moderator people, just CANNOT reply since we are NOT allowed to .  I would like too, especially since I'm very interested about the idea of 'upgrading' from mb2hal to this new driver and that I already have a system built on mesa card.

Then your query 'Please let me know of anything that you feel you need to know that the docs omit' will sadly be left unanswered by most of us...


Oh, yeah, just one thing to start with. I'm assuming that this is Modbus Master, but nowhere it says so. Maybe relevant to mention it. (My pro-face HMI want to know
