Newbie - MPG A to Z (hehe)

Hi,

Thanks for all your help in the past, an extremely helpful bunch for sure!

I have a 6i25 that I purchased an additional DB25 breakout for, pinout from the manual:

1-9,11,13,15,17,19,21,23,25 are I/O
10,12,14,16 are GND
18, 20, 22, 24, 26 are GND or 5V

My MPG is a cheapy:

Red - VCC
Black - 0V
Green - A
White - B
Green/Black - A/
Black/White - B/
Orange Black - COM
Gray - X1
Gray Black - X10
Orange - X100
Yellow - X
Yellow Black - Y
Brown - Z
Brown Black - 4

I only have 3 axis on my 6040.

Previously I had an absolute nightmare trying to figure out how the "abstracted" HAL pin mappings worked in pncconf, could someone please help me out and explain exactly what I need to do?

Which colour wires I should attach to the DB25 and how I should setup the second connector in pncconf as well as any HAL creation/edits would be much appreciated?
