Hi all,

We had issues with our Biesse Rover 336 machine when the boot and the whole OS was really slow and the machine was not able to perform General Homing  (or any other work) after the start-up. We discovered that the low battery level on the Dallas DS12887 CMOS non-volatile memory was the issue. We attached an external battery (based on youtube videos) and the issue was resolved for a few weeks. A month later a new error appeared (a different one compared to the original error), the machine and the OS is booting correctly and swiftly, but after the start-up (even before attempting Gloval Homing) it shows the following error: "PLC 390 - No non-volatile memory available. (NVRAM0)" (see the attached screenshot) and the machine is not able to perform Global Homing or any other physical action/work. We even purchased a new DS12887 with a battery in good condition, but it did not help, the same issue persists.
If we enter the BIOS setup, we see a "Configuration errors were detected." issue. (see the attached screenshot)

Has anyone seen something similar or has any advise how we could fix this issue?

Many thanks in advance.

Might have better luck asking that on cnczone.com.
If you plan on changing the old controls and retrofitting new controller and PC and software, there are already some logs of retrofitting on this forum.
