I think that the answer here is not to load the interpreter and motion system.
You can just load a Glade GUI and a few encoder counters.
Unforunately mdro appears so need the rest of the LinuxCNC system to operate, so doesn't quite work in this mode.

I thought about the GUI. But consider it better to try using MDR0 on Linuxcnc 10.0 and have the entire system available to add functionality in the future.
I installed the .ISO x86 2.9, tried to update to 2.10 but only the .DOC was updated
I am making a very big effort to understand how I can install a complete Linuxcnc 2.10 but I cannot find the .ISO
I am very excited about using MDRO I think it is a great solution to what I am looking for. I'm moving forward little by little.
The Linuxcnc Studio allows me great work advances. I must continue!! sorry for asking so many questions!!!

You don't need an ISO to run 2.10. If you have 2.8 on Buster then that can be upgraded to LinuxCNC 2.10 without any changes to the OS.
