Debian 12 na Linuxcnc 2.9 gui options was created by zieluch
Hi ,
I have CNC Desktop router 600x400 with Jianken ATC 2.2 30k spindle.
Currently I have Debian 10 and linuxcnc 2.84. I have configuration more or less working with probing from vers v2.8 and ATC Automatic for 5 slot rack style tool change and semi-automatic triggered by Z axis button, for tool outside of rack.
github.com/verser-git/probe_screen_v2.8

Axis GUI is very basic but with probe screen is usable and making the job. But I was thinking about something more appealing and operated mainly with touch screen.
I already installed Debian 12  and linuxcnc 2.9 +. And I started to check what is possible what will work etc. Unfortunately, I didn’t find anything. Axis – not working as probe-screen_v2.8 is for lower version of Linuxcnc and there are some python errors.Probe Basic – nice GUI but only rack. Found that there were some efforts in the past for making rack config in two old branches but no update on thatQTDragon_hd – definitely has same advantages, nice to the view, supposed to be quite easy to setup from axis, but it is not available on 2.84 and on 2.9 making remap M6 is kind of not that straight forward. (Also not many examples how somebody done that)Gmoccapy – personally no advantage to axis.  Are there any options ? Did anyone have fully converted this type of machine into deb12 and linuxcnc 2.9 ? Bets regardsMichal
