M3 M5 and signal question was created by abdulasis12
Hi
I use
7i96s + 7i77 MESA
spindle sanyo denki attactched from brother-228 mill machine
In hall file
It's will output correct for enable spindle motor
but I have problem when M5 , spindle-enable will sudden turn off and spindle will slow down rpm with inertial speed.
How to after M5 , spindle-enable signal output need lag time about 0.5 - 1 sec for use brake resistor, Or have any solution for better ?

If i understood this correctly, the easy way would be to add
M3 S0
G04 P1
M5
That will set the spindle to 0 RPM so the VFD can do it's thing, wait one second, then switch off.
There are other ways of doing it in hal using oneshot or timedelay, but this is easy and should work.
