hello everyone
i am building a SCARA robot arm for a project right now and since its hard to source EtherCAT capable servos in my area right now, i am forced to used Modbus. But since i am a noob to Modbus i do not know how to configure and set things up for now, but the servos im using right now are INVT DA180 .
any help would be greatly appreciated

at first glance those servos take either step+direction, quadrature or CW/CCW step inputs. no modbus needed for position control.
