Problem installing Mesa Configuration Tool was created by ckuecker

I am running LinuxCNC on a custom three axis mill, using a Mesa 7I96S and 7i75 breakout board. Stepper driven,

When I try to install the Mesa Configuration Tool, I get this error - screen shot attached.

Python is latest, I've done an upgrade. Any idea what I;m missing?

What version of Linux?
Not LinuxCNC.
