Does anyone have knowledge on how to upgrade a Biesse FT Rover 24 computer to something more modern. Old pc near dead

You could do a full LinuxCNC conversion, it's been done a few times before (search the forum). But it's a fair bit of work and there is likely to be a lot to learn.

Hey Chris
I did a retrofit on a 6.5m travel biesse router
24xl model
We use it daily and it works great
Running linuxcnc software
But they do take a bit of work.
I have done about 10 big machines now

have you got the drill bank working ?
I'm doing a rover 15 which is pretty much all working apart from the the main spindle popping down when its being used and the drill bank I've read every post but I still don't understand how to get them working
