Fusion 360 + XYZB machine
I can't produce valid GCode for this with Fusion360.
I'm trying with the emc post processor, but it says it can't output code as this post doesnt have TCP enabled.
The simulations of generated code are only using the Y, Z and B axes, it's not using the X axis. Is this because although I do have the license, i don't have the manufacturing extension?
I'm trying to drill holes by using the "wrap cylinder" function with a "-3 offset", because 3mm is the thickness of my tube. This "kinda" works in the simulation, because the holes come out conic as it doesn't move the X axis, but I can't generate any gcode.
Could anyone please point me in the right direction? where can i find a functional post processor for this?
thank you

You need to disable TCP checkbox in the machine settings. This mode is not supported for linuxcnc.Hello. I have made a XYZB machine, with XYZ on the bridge and B axis on the table. The B center of rotation coincides with the Y axis vector.

Nope, wrap and rotary operations are only 3-axis (XZA/YZB), they do not support deviation spindle from the rotation axis. The simulations of generated code are only using the Y, Z and B axes, it's not using the X axis. Try disabling tcp and as far as I remember everything should work, the postprocessor (LinuxCNC (EMC2), not "EMC" - these are different postprocessors) is already configured for the rotary axis. It takes all the necessary settings from machine settings. G93 should be supported. I checked it about a month ago.I'm trying to drill holes by using the "wrap cylinder" function with a "-3 offset", because 3mm is the thickness of my tube. where is this disable tcp thing?
I’m comfortable with using just 3 axes, but I’ve made the machine with 4 lol.
