Probe Question was created by gardenweazel
Folks,
Is there an easy tool touch/setter GUI for AXIS that is simple to set up and doesn't require troubleshooting for ages to get it running?
Something preferably something that has written setup instructions.
Thanks in advance

To be honest, I can't guarantee that you won't be troubleshooting for ages.
But you could try
github.com/verser-git/probe_screen_v2.8
If you follow the instructions in the readme there carefully, and step by step, it ought to work.

Thanks Gents for the feedback.
I've already tried ProbeScreen. Thanks but no thanks on that one.
I'll give QTDragon a try.

Yes. There is. And it just won't get any better than that one.

So, question on this Easy Probe.
I have one of these: Edge Finders
And I have one of these: Tool Setters
Will either of these work with Easy Probe?

Got influenced by the thread title more than the content, fast reader my bad. Was sure you had a probe and was looking for easy subs that fits in AXIS in a 5min set-up time.
In that case you simply need a custom touch subroutine/call imho. More or less 10~15 lines of code in its most simplistic mean. No need for fancy gui buttons & calibration...
I swear I've seen countless "touch" subs on this forum. Shares from several members. Pick your poison!
