In the fire no frying pan was created by steveb55
Hi
i have a machine that a friend of mine is doing and it seems as he has had a accident and is out off it for a bit .
linuxcnc is loaded
switches are on mesa7184 board
the drives are on a mesa 7177 board
that is connected to mesa 7194t
and ther is a extra meas7184 as well
My big problem is i have no clue on how to go on with this first time i have seen it ,
i need some help please

Maybe post some pictures of the whole affair as that would give us an idea of what we are talking about.

Does the PC boot? Do you have any idea how far he got? Is there a configuration file in ~/linuxcnc/configs/ that looks like it might be for the machine?

Also, if there was a working configuration, launching
LinuxCNC (say by typing "linuxcnc" in a terminal window)
will bring up the configuration selector and the default choice
will be the last configuration that had been run.

the pc starts up and all the boards are working i am working on the wiring of all the parts now
