How to fix error on program start up

Hi all,
I am completely new to the LinuxCNC software and am currently trying to recover a file for my coworker on an 11 year old desktop. After clicking on the program, it looks as if it is booting up, but then displays an error message. I am just going to attach a Word document containing all of the error code, so if someone can help me to decipher what the problem is and how I can go about fixing it that would be absolutely amazing. I am thinking the computer and software might be out of date, as the LinuxCNC version it runs is 2.4.7. If this is the case, should I try and reinstall the software entirely? Thanks for your help in advance!

This is for a program on the LinuxCNC tailored to run a milling machine, I don't know if that helps at all.

This is a hardware or setup error of some kind, basically
meaning there is no communication from your PC to the
Mesa Ethernet card.
