I was wondering what a good stable GUI would be for my CNC mill? I have a Mesa 7i96 with 4 axis and a probe. I know I can see the HAL tools in Axis, are they included in others?

If you want simple and very reliable = Axis GUI
If you want good looking and "some work needed" = GmoccaPy
If you want beautiful and very usable for mill = QtDragon or QtPyVCP
On the last one i can not go one way or the other as they are both magnificent at what they do, but QtDragon is easier to set up of the two, and is included with LinuxCNC, while QtPyVCP is an external project with very good support here on the forum and their IRC.

Thanks, I did try and pull in my pncconf into QtDragon, and some of it seems to need some work. My Axis seems to be great except my wiring on my probe may be off.

After a while I found my probe wasn't getting power. My neutral input to my power supply came off somehow.

I was able to get the QTDragon to work.
