Base Thread Over 100k was created by Micro2000
My base thread is getting over 100k when I run my Hal test and I keep getting a error when I start linuxcnc and it won't let me run my machine. It was working before but now it's not.

What PC?
Did you disable power saving options and hyperthreading in BIOS?
What hardware?
What Linux version?
What LinuxCNC versions?
RTAI or RT_Preemt kernel?

I have a custom built computer. MB is a Asrock B350M HDV R 4.0, CPU Ryzen 3 2200G, 16 gb of ram, GPU is a GeForce 1050 ti, running a 4×4 pci parrallel port card for cnc controller. And 250gb of storage. I'll have to double check the bios. I have the Linuxcnc prebuilt 2.8.4 Buster and the RT_Preemt kernel I'm pretty sure.

Ok, 2200G should have a built in graphic card, so yank out the 1050 and try again.
Although, for parallel port use and since this is an older CPU, you could try just installing the RTAI kernel and boot into it, should have better latency.

You mean the RTAI kernel?
It should be on our server as it also goes with the RTAI version of LinuxCNC.
See the documentation on how to proceed for 2.8.4
Edit
That does not mean you keep the 1050, it has to go out, NVIDIA cards cause latency issues, so should not be used.

Do you know of an older model that will work? The reason why I ask is I was having screen resolution errors come up when I would use the built in graphics.

RX480 and RX580, both 8GB versions, and both work for me, made by XFX and Sapphire, but they are not cheap as they can still play AAA games due to big amount of memory.
