preview wrong??

so today i started a job and I got this in the preview screen when everything was zero'd and the program was running.  the program is below my z axis, and the "tool" (cone thingy) is way up above the part. the program runs, but its a little confusing. any thoughts?

maybe... ill give it a shot, but I feel like the tip of the cone thing should be ON the actual tool path. and the toolpath itself shouldnt be below the min z level.

hard to tell what is going on without more data, maybe tell us what the work offsets were set at as well as the current dro position readings at the time of the image capture.
