Estop all the axes that scroll at low speed, a few hundredths per second was created by Ginou
Hello everyone. Happy New Year 2025.I was able to get by with pncconfig I have my two XY axes that work super well, I have the Z axis with a little bounce and above all I have the Y axis that scrolls after its movement the X and Z axes are fixed and precise. I have especially after the Estop all the axes that scroll at low speed, a few hundredths per second, I noticed that I had connected 28 V to my 7i77 card instead of 24 V would it not be a little too much for the card my power supply is closer to 400 V than 380 hence this small extra value.Could you help me to finalize my final setting. Thank you for your help. Eugene

Drive enable MUST be controlled by LinuxCNC.
Since you gave no info on what hardware, there is nothing more to help.

Thanks for the feedback. I have a Mesa 6i25 card with a 7i77 I don't understand. The activation must be controlled by Linux Cc The power-up is not managed by L. Linux CNC, but the activation of the axes is done by itself. I can interpret an entire program despite the small defect on the Y axis I attach a video and the ini and hal file. Thanks for your help.

OK, again, drive enable must be controlled by LinuxCNC, and they are not controlled by it in your config.
See the drive manual, find what pin is drive enable, wire that pin to Mesa 7i77 output (disconnect from whatever it is connected now), then in hal/config add that physical output as net machine-is-on or net machine-is-enabled

Servos often drift when the controller (linuxcnc) is disabled.
The usual way to counteract this problem is to disable the servo drive when linuxcnc is in 'machine off'
For instance the signal 'x-enable' is the signal used to disable the X axes servo.
Your servo drive surely has a enable/disable connection.

yes thank you for your help my question was stupid. I have two servo drive systems one that I kept from the original Deckel and the other a new generation leadshine both driven in analog. they are operational when powered up which a priori will have to change. they must be requested by linuxcnc t so my hal file must be modified which will be done initially I will come back to you after the result. in the meantime thank you for your help

Hello. Good news I no longer drift on my Y axis, however when I turn my axis by hand, I have my scale which is correct to the micron and when my program runs, I have my Y which leaves at each directional pulse of two or 3 mm in positive. I tried to interact on the PID without success. As for the other axes they are well calibrated and no problem, does anyone have an idea of this phenomenon. Thank you for your help.
