Indivudual home buttons - EMC2-Axis was created by slowpoke
On my mill there are individual buttons to home, X, Y, Z
On my lathe (EMC2) there is only a home all button.
I would like to be able to home the two axis X & Z independently.
Joint 0 is the X axis, and Joint 1 is the Z axis
How do I go about getting individual home buttons to display and work in EMC2?
For the moment I'm not planning on using actual home switches, just homing from the GUI.
Thanks,
Jeff

EMC2 is a historic name for Linuxcnc so not very helpful
What GUI?
What version?

I think in the machine menu, there is a homing menu for each axis but I don't have a sim handy to check.

This is a great strategy!

I think in axis, I think it has to do with the ini entry HOME_SEQUENCE. I think if you remove that entry, it will remove home all button

You are correct, that works.I think in axis, I think it has to do with the ini entry HOME_SEQUENCE. I think if you remove that entry, it will remove home all button
