Sounds like its for more industrial applications on conveyor belts etc where there is a defined motion profile including waypoints. eg place a cherry on top of a cupcake on a conveyor after it comes out of the oven

What? No swearing and cursing?
Very well worded, thank you Rod.
Makes me wonder, how come none of those there know about LinuxCNC???
We need some marketing, any ideas?

They're experts, our superiors, we're just the mugs at the coal face.
I think it's like the guy who only has a hammer in his tool box, everything can be solved by a hammer.
Tho I think the kernel has bigger issues at hand, the whole Rust thing & Linus thinking about stepping down or taking a back seat at the least.
And honestly what machine operator\owner wants rust around their machine ?
