TAMAGAWA encoders model TS5661N132 was created by COFHAL
I have some TAMAGAWA encoders model TS5661N132. It is an encoder with RS-485 serial communication. The question is: can this type of encoder be decoded with Mesa cards that support SSI or BiSS? If I'm not mistaken, this encoder is a Biss encoder.

It should be possible, I assume you have read:
linuxcnc.org/docs/stable/html/man/man9/hostmot2.9.html#BiSS ?

Thank you for your reply. I have read it. My question is whether this encoder is BiSS and uses a standard protocol that can be decoded by LCNC, because I understand that some of these types of encoders use their own protocol.

Maybe you could send one to Mesa for testing?
