Arbitrary gouging message was created by lanthan
Consider this:
Machine configured and working OK. 1.5 mm diameter straight cutter as T3.
EMC2 2.4.6 just updated from apt repository, stops with gouging msg ("near line 99 of ... arc move in concave corner cannot be reached by the tool without gouging") after a series of IDENTICAL arcs that do not trigger the error.
Always happen after the same number of repetitions of the arcs (in my case, the seventh and last iteration of one cycle... but not on the first one! it stops on the second of such drill cycles)
I attached a screen cap and a copy of one of the offending files.
Using EMC2/Axis 2.4.6 on Ubuntu Lucid kernel 2.6.32-122-rtai #rtai SMP Tue Jul 27 12:44:07 CDT 2010
Puzzled on this. Looks like a bug... THX for any hints!

No help, but I agree that is very odd.

What is your exact tool diameter in the tool table? (Just to help other people who might want to try to recreate the problem)

tool diameter = 1.5 mm.
Z length (configured but not using it anywhere in the code = 15mm)
The intention was to drill holes with 0.94 mm radius (1.88 mm diameter, a tight fit for M2 bolts) by cutting inside that limit
Errors out at the bottom of the _second_ hole.
The machine's resolution is well under those measurements (0.003 mm) so it should not interfere here.
Provisory solution: I slightly increased the hole radius to 1.0 mm and now it does not trigger the gouging error.
