Hello all,
Just out of curiosity has anyone been able to integrate Okuma drives and encoders with Linux CNC?I know that it is proprietary tech so you are not going to get much information Okuma, but was wondering if anyone has been able to crack it?Thanks

i've got a few communication logs from a logic analyzer and had a quick look at it. was able to decode it: 10 Mbit/s, NRZ(L), 4b6b, LSB first:

Can you tell me what encoder model you were pulling the data from? I know the resolution between the different generations can vary greatly. I think the latest generation claims about 10 million PPR.
