Help identifying a CM5-based LinuxCNC controller was created by tietouwa
Hi everyone,
I came across a piece of CNC controller hardware running LinuxCNC. Does anyone recognize this setup or know who makes it?
I checked the system over SSH and found:
- Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 Rev 1.0
- 2 GB RAM and 16 GB eMMC
- Debian 12 Bookworm
- LinuxCNC 2.9.3
- PREEMPT_RT kernel: 6.6.54-rt39
- CPU configured to run at 1.8 GHz
- Realtek RTL8111/8168 Ethernet controller using the ec_r8169 EtherCAT driver
- EtherCAT master 1.5.2
- WCH USB device (1a86:5537) using a custom ch37x driver, with /dev/ch37x0
- PCF8563 RTC
- Connected touchscreen
The EtherCAT master is detected, but its link is currently down and no slaves are connected.
Does this look like a known commercial controller or a custom carrier board? I would appreciate any information about its manufacturer, model, hardware revision, or available documentation and LinuxCNC configuration files.
Thanks!
