Spindle CW signal issue

When using the manual controls the spindle CW output works properly and outputs 5.34V when on and 0.06V when off. However when G-code is running the M03 and M05 codes the program changes the button that is pressed in the manual control area but there is no output (0.005v) on the pin. It works fine when under manual control even when running all 3 motors (output 5.16v when on). Any one have this happen to them before if so how did you solve it? Thanks in advance.

Did you set a spindle speed?

Thanks that solved the problem. I changed all the M03's in the program to be M03 S1000.

I ran into this when testing a break out board.
If you click on the spindle on and off button they work as you would expect them to.

For M03 to work a spindle speed needs to be set. It can be set ahead of time automatically when EMC starts or with
S1000
and then later
M03
After that if you use M05 to turn the spindle off you can turn it back on with M03 without having to enter the spindle speed again.

The only time this does not work is if you hit the spindle off button it will turn the spindle off and set spindle speed to 0.
