Using KICAD and EMC2 was created by Tech_JA
Hello,
I would like to use kicad an EMC but the files generated by kicad aren't compatibles.
How can I convert the gerber files to use in EMC?
Thank you
Jorge Augusto

Do you have many to do? I have done similar things with Excel, which is easy but not very efficient.
I made an Octave script (freeware version of Matlab) to convert a drill file to EMC2 G-code (Sorry, no access to the file at the moment, as I am away from home for the rest of the month)
This interesting article : phk.freebsd.dk/CncPcb/ has a link to some software called pcb-gcode which might do what you want

Somebody on the Kicad forum has written a python script to convert the Kicad output files to gcode.
I borrowed some parts of it to do the same job for the GEDA pcb files.
