What are the LPT to stepper motor controller connectivity diagrams EMC2 supports?

What controlling signals on which pins of LPT port it issues? What are the feedback signals?

What is the way to connect, let's say, stepper motor controller based on Toshiba TB6560( datasheet ) to LPT port and run it with EMC2?

Thanks.

Anything you want. As long as you keep to the P-Port specification limits (ie, which pins are inputs and which are outputs) EMC2 allows you to define any pin to have any function.
If you want to use the TB6560 driver you might find it most cost-effective to buy one of the very cheap 4-axis boards from eBay which use that chip. No sense re-inventing the wheel.

Yeah, good to know that.

Well, i am from far-far-away Russia, where money transfer, delivery and customs fee rise eBay price up to terribly ass-f*ing values. The easiest, fastest and ultimately cost-effective way here is to get those chips from some broken hardware and assemble the desired device.

BTW, regarding reinventing wheels... If you can share some links to schematics of such devices, based on TB6560? Would be great.

Thanks in advance!

Not so far away from some of us. I am in the UK, but there are lots of EMC2 users in Russia, and even a Russian sub-forum. Click on the user map (lower left) to see.
(It takes a very long time to load, though)
They might be able to tell you how much direct imports from China cost.
