is there a way to get an older version of the software? I'm running this on Ubuntu 8.04 with the latest EMC2, and on 10.? and the latest EMC2. I just remember it working, and I think I had an older version of EMC2 at the time.

While reviewing online documentation I came across an article about my driver board. A modification was made to the sync of the driver chip to keep it sync with EMC2. I have made the hardware modification and running a test presently.
I hope this fixes it.

Thanks to everyone who have offered assistance. It appears that the hardware fix took care of the problem. After 9 hours of running, the zero point is still in the same position as it was in the beginning.
This has been a very long 3 weeks of not making any parts!!!!

Glad to hear you are up and running, the only way to look at something like this is that time was lost but knowledge was gained.
Good luck,
