Jog Learn and what hardware interface cards? was created by carywinton
I need to know if ENC has the capability of Jog Learn and what type of interface board would be best to use for 9 axes servo motor configuration?

What is the interface to the servo drives? This will determine what interface hardware is needed.
I dont think a jog-learn capability is built in to EMC but is likely possible with some clever HAL programing
and the HAL-sampler component to record the coordinate data
(plus a filter program to convert the sampled data back to gcode)

He is currently using Mach5 with parallel port cards to the Servo motors. We are trying to get away from a windblows based environment and Mach.
