I'm going to convert our old electric-eye burn table to cnc.
I got a cheap PC & downloaded & installed EMC2 on Ubuntu 8.04.
I've purchased a power supply, a Pico Systems universal stepper control, 2 gecko G201X drives & 2 NEMA 23 stepper motors. The machine will be a X & Y axis only with home & limit switches, an e-stop & a relay to operate three solenoids that will open the oxy-acetylene valves.
Can anyone recommend a machine configuration that would suit my purposes from the configuration selector menu?

stepper_inch or stepper_mm or use the StepConf Wizard and roll one to suit.
