Cutting mirror image?

I'm new to this stuff and reading the posts. I've learned that you have to think backwards sometimes, with table directions +/- and such. But my first cut of the eample "EMC2 4 AXIS" cut in a mirror image? Weird. I'm using a motion24 Gantry table from Mekanika that I have mounted a Bosch palm router to. Any ideas what would cause this?

You need to change X and/or Y direction.

When X axis points right, Y axis should point forward, Z axis up. You should have corresponding movements of tool over workpiece when pressing + and - axes buttons in manual mode.

Wow you guys are quick! Indeed the problem was in my "Y" axis polarity on the control board. I switched the wires and now cuts perfectly and corresponds to the screen image. Now I just have to think as negative as " tool toward material" only. Thanks again for the speedy reply. Is there any way to contribute to this program? I'm feeling kind of dirty using something for free. Can't find a donation button?
