Not sure about pncconf but AFAIK bldc_sine is obsolete, its function being taken over by the more capable bldc comp

Strange... From 2.5.0 changelog:

It musta been a typo.
BLDC is the current driver. PNCconf uses it - you should see some lines with it.
What missing there is commands to set the 3pwm gens to the proper options (if there are any) and
connect the BLDC outputs to the 3pwmgen's inputs.
Which bldc outputs are connected depends on what options for BLDC you have chosen.
just from the comment it seems you chose 3 outputs from there the options are bit output or analog output.
I'm pretty sure you want analog output.
that should lead us to something like connecting signal named x-a-value to the 3pwm gens a-value pin (for x axis) same for the b and c value. etc
What you need is a sample config to look at. I'll see if i have one that Andy gave me.

Found a bug, encoders mixed up: 00 for Z, 02 for X etc.

O sorry that's just about P3 and P4 connectors. P4 is 00 and 01, P3 is 02 and 03. And I started with X on P3.
But another problem is when I do not enable index in brushless config, index-related strings are created anyways in HAL. Which results in error because when bldc is loaded with
loadrt bldc cfg=q,q,q
it has no index pins like bldc.0.index-enable.
