Cant find TB2

I've down loaded and extracted Chris's zip file for 5i25 7i76 mesa cards.

I can't locate the TB2 pin configurations?

The TB2 is not directly listed in PNCconf.

You select the signals for it from in the 5i25's I/O connectors.
If you select the help button and look at the output tab, it should explain the conversion.

Please note that the numbering system in PNCconf relates to the component
number of the signal or I/O, not the actual pin number of the connector.

Here is a sample:

Working thru the pncconf, and get to the page where I chose 5i25, clicked on the box near the bottom right to find the parallel port address. It pops up the "output" tab of the help page. There are only 2 PCI cards but neither one says anything about being a parallel port. First port is this

If I plug one of these addresses in, will I know whether it is working or not without the computer being hooked to the controller and machine?

Select the stepgens from I/O Connector 3 tab for each axis.

TB5 and TB6 is on the Smart Serial 0 tab so select any I/O like limit switches and start/stop buttons on that tab.

"it" I was refering to the Parallel port address, if it was the correct one. Neither PCI card makes reference to a parallel port, that was listed on the "help page".

When I am using the pncconf wizard I get to the, Mesa Configuration Board, I choose Firmware 7i76X1, Watchdog 10000000, Encoders 1, PWM gen 0, Step Gen 4, Smart Serial Ports 1, Channels 2, 34 pins.

I click on Accept Component Changes, I get Config page I/O connector 2, I/O connector 3, Smart Serial 0, I click on Smart Serial 0, get pages TB6, TB5, TB4.

I've looked all over these pages, including expanding arrows, still have yet to find step/gen, dir, etc?

I'm thinking I must be missing something on the Mesa Config Board. I have 3 axis, but planning on a 4th, so I set Step Gen to 4? Should I have a value in the PWM Gen??? I am going to try that.

The computer is still in the computer room, not hooked up to the contoller, 7i76 card, etc???

Use the 7i76 manual to work out what signals are on which terminal block, then use the pins by name in pncconf.

I know which pins I have wired from TB2 to the Gecko's on axis, that is all mapped out on the 7i76 instructions.

I can't find where to "assign" them in TB6, TB5, etc. in the configuration page on pncconf. I think I'm missing something on the config page.

Pncconf is not referring to TB3 pins but rather P3 pins on the 5I25

The stepgen outputs on the 7I76 card are on the 7I76s TB2 (0 through 3)
and TB3 (stepgen 4) these connections are listed in the 7I76 manual.
I'm pretty sure they are assigned X=0 ,Y=1, Z=2, A=3
