Are the 7i76 encoder inputs safe to 12V? Is the conditioning even necessary?

Ok, Thanks for confirming. That's what I was assuming but I wanted to make sure. I'll play with the halmeter and see what hal signal I currently have for spindle enable.
I'll swap out and put in a lower resistance divider circuit to pull it closer to ground and see if I can get the Spindle Speed function to work.
PCW mentioned to me a few weeks ago that the A, B, and Index signals for the spindle must be 5V when wired into the 7i76.
Thanks for the help so far gents.

I finally have both the spindle speed encoders and analog output working.
Thanks for your help once again.
