All right!
Besides there is a 2nd logik/hardware-based PID inside the Servocontroller anyway.

Ok, i have to disturb once again...
My Motordriver is set to 1600 Step/rev.
In Pncconf:
- If i pick a Setup of 1 step/mm (open Loop / no encoder)
- Set a Test Area of 1mm in Axis Tune
The MESA Card schould send 1 Step right?

Its likely to... but if you have 1 mm steps and a 1.0001 mm move you might generate 2 steps
and if you have 1 mm steps and a 0.9999 mm move you might not generate any steps
Also depends on where you started

I'll be honest I've never been able to make PNCConf"s test and tune section do anything. Best just to use it to make a basic configuration, then fiddle with it from there.

For some reason it doesnt match at all.
Motor does multible smooth Turns and im able to change the Speed.
There shouldnt be a Speed change possible wih a single Step.....
(Or i have steps with analog Vpp Super Step mode! Patented!)

Hm...
Leadscrew 16mm + 1600step/rev = Stepper Scale 1000000,000 Is that plausible?

1600 steps = 16mm motion so
100 steps = 1mm motion
so the scale is 100 (steps per mm)
100 steps = 1mm motion
so the scale is 100 (steps per mm)

Todd Zuercher was also right...
After a while of hand editing, it is almost more comfortable than pncconf.
Is it possible, that Linux CNC cant operate above 6000mm/min?
It doesnt matter, what my Stepscale is. Above 6000mm/min ill get a "joint 0 following error".
-> 500stp/mm * 6.000mm/min = 3.000.000stp/min -> 50Khz -> Error at about 6200mm/min
-> 100stp/mm * 6.000mm/min = 600.000stp/min -> 10Khz -> Error at about 6200mm/min
Open loop so far. No encoder.

No, Linuxcnc has no important speed limitations
(I have a test config that does about 3 million mm/m = ~90 MPH and 10 MHz step rates)
If you get a following error, its probably a hal/ini file problem of some kind
If you post you hal and ini files I can probably see what's wrong
