I would check lincurves output and x,y values
That is, if you have a single X value of 24000 paired with a Y value of 24000
there's not any reason you should not get a lincurve output of 24000 with an input of 24000

so as you can see on the attached image i tell the vfd/spindle to go 7700 rpm but it stays at 6000 ( i tired that with numerous values).
with the previous hal config. i was able to change the speeds even tho they were far off.
I cant attach my image even tho it is small enough for some reason so i can only post an imgur link, sry.

Do you think it would help if edit my Ini min_limit to 6000 ?
My vfd is set up to 100hz ~ 400Hz with 0~10v but software is prob. thinking 0~400 Hz is 0~10v

Can you post your current hal/ini files?
I just tested this and linucurve acts as expected with the values I posted,
that is
loadrt lincurve personality=3
addf lincurve.0 servo-thread
setp lincurve.0.x-val-00 0
setp lincurve.0.y-val-00 0
setp lincurve.0.x-val-01 6000
setp lincurve.0.y-val-01 0
setp lincurve.0.x-val-02 24000
setp lincurve.0.y-val-02 24000
outputs 0 at a commanded RPM of 6000 and 24000 at a commanded RPM of 24000
and a correct interpolated value for commanded RPM values between 6000 and 24000

PCW i think i found my error here, i still had loadrt lincurve personality=4
i changed it to 3 and now im only round about 200-300 rpm off of what i want.
Is that acceptable or still bad ?

Hi, Nils
I'm on my way to pair Huayang Vfd to mesa 7i76e
I also connected the same as andypough explained
My question is what do you mean by "i had to set the Jumper on my VFD from 2&3 to 1&2 "?
Please enlighten me..
Big Thanks
Cakra
